I rejoined SuicideGirls.com the other day, and thought i would relay the tales, except that i ran into a problem…i know some of these women outside of SG, and in fact i’m in contact with 2 of them.  So, i guess i have to cut out some of the info here.  the question was, do i remove the SG names, or do i remove the photos?

I went with removing names.  the photos are just too good.  Everything is PG-13 or below.  I copied the blog post i made at SG right into here.  More after the break.

Mótus:

Noun, Latin. The action or process of moving or of changing place or position; movement.

I have started the process of moving and rebuilding the site from Yahoo! Small Business to Ipage and as a result a lot of the site is going to be down for awhile.  Most affected right now are the sub domain sites i’ve had up, including GameDisappointment.com, Lost.AMurderOfCrows.net, DnD.AMurderOfCrows.net, and and of the god awful Yahoo Sitebuilder or Site Solution sites i had up.

I’ve been thinking about this move for a long time, but i actually moved mainly for two reasons:

  1. I no longer work for Yahoo Inc.
  2. Yahoo Small Business provides pretty good support of a pretty terrible web hosting platform.
  3. Yahoo Small Business can’t/won’t provide proper support for advanced WordPress installations, essentially crippling my site’s ability to grow or develop.

I can’t sleep.  The song is clawing at my brain, tempting me with promises of fulfillment and satisfaction while at the same time tormenting me with the knowledge that no matter how long i work on it tonight i will not have enough there to complete it.  I’m hearing a piano, a cello, some industrial samples, black metal and industrial guitar, all at the edges of my consciousness.  I can almost hear how any words will be sung.

But i know i can’t complete it tonight.  Hell, Fail is a year old and i don’t even have a solid completed version of that song.  This new song is probably going to haunt me for the next 2 months.

Please, dark muse, let me pass into the oblivion for now.  i promise i’ll return to pull you out soon, but i must work tomorrow, and i need this grey matter functional to do so.

Yahoo Small Buisness Mail – IMAP with the iPhone

Ok so I had a hell of a time figuring out how to configure my iPhone to work with Yahoo’s IMAP servers. I had read quite a few sites claiming that Yahoo does not support IMAP for small buisness class accounts. What? Why would they allow IMAP for free yahoo accounts and yet pay buisness web hosting accounts the service is not provided? Well I assumed it has something to do with the IMAP service not fully being tested. I noticed that when Yahoo launched thier new Webmail interface, it took almost two to three months before Emaild web mail had the ability to use the new interface. This was because Yahoo beta tests new features on free subscribers. This I assume is the same thing…

Quoth the Raven…Serendipitous

Ran into a customer today who was having problems using Google Apps with his domain account.  Not long after mentioning it to a colleague, i myself was on google apps, preparing to say goodbye to both my standard email address and the Yahoo! Small Business based email boxes i’ve had.

Nothing went 100% according to plan, but so far i was able to successfully migrate my calendars and prepare the mail for transfer.  we’ll see how it goes.  I’m excited about it anyway

In the meantime, gasp in awe of the design work Ollo and I have put onto the site.

Here are the articles on using Google Apps with a Yahoo! based domain.

Went through and did a site redesign using WordPress 3.0 as a base.  All of the old content will remain, but the Yahoo! Site Solution site has been moved.

If you’d like to see the old site, click here (will open in a new window or tab).

Please note that this site is always under tweaking and changing.

Donald Trump WILL take part in Detroit debate hosted by Megyn Kelly Donald Trump will take part in a Republican debate moderated by Fox News star Megyn Kelly, his campaign said today. The move ends a long-running boycott of Kelly by Trump, after they clashed bitterly during the first Fox News Republican debate. Asked by Daily Mail Online whether he was 'solidly committed to debating on Thursday', a campaign spokesman replied simply: 'Yes.' The decision by Trump comes after he wondered out loud at a campaign rally about whether he should attend. Star quality: Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly arrives at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party earlier this week Speaking to supporters in Oklahoma City, he said the debates 'seem like a terrible waste of time' Business Insider reported. 'Aren't these debates ridiculous, though?' he asked. 'How about if I don't do the next debate? Yes?' Trump asked.pre bonded hair The debate will be the third one hosted by Fox News, but only the second Fox News debate attended by Trump as he boycotted their event in Des Moines in January. The feud goes back to August, when Kelly opened the debate - the very first of the election cycle - by asking Trump: 'You've called women you don't like, "fat pigs", "dogs", slobs, and disgusting animals.' When Trump replied 'only Rosie O'Donnell', Kelly hit back: 'No it wasn't. For the record, it was well beyond Rosie O'Donnell. 'Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women's looks. You once told a contestant on "Celebrity Apprentice" it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees.

'Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?' Trump later used his Twitter account to call Kelly 'unprofessional' then in a CNN interview, said of her: 'You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her - wherever.' I'm in: Trump confirmed his attendance at the debate moderated by Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, ending a boycott going back to their feud in August last year The comment led to widespread claims of sexism and misogyny. Trump and Fox News were increasingly at odds, and when the next debate came in January, he did not take part, instead holding a rally which raised money for veterans' groups. That prompted Kelly to say off air that the other candidates had treated him like 'Voldemort' - the Harry Potter villain whose nickname was 'he who must not be named'. Fox News later said that she was unfamiliar with the Harry Potter books and was unaware that Voldemort was the most evil character in them. Last month he again boycotted a Fox News event, a town hall in Houston, Texas, in which the other four remaining candidates took part. This debate could be the last for some of the candidates involved, with John Kasich having said that he will quit the race on March 15 if he cannot win Ohio, where he is governor. Ben Carson is also under pressure to get out because of his flat-lining poll numbers.remy hair extensions

And according to a new report, there's set to be a dramatic break-up ahead of the romantic proposal. Us Weekly claims that JoJo comes to the difficult decision of choosing between the two suitors after one of them makes a big mistake with her parents Joseph and Soraya. Family matters: Joelle 'JoJo' Fletcher apparently picks her fiance in next week's Bachelorette finale after one of the men makes a big mistake with her parents Who will it be?: Jordan Rodgers (L) and Robby Hayes are the two men left in the competition, and one of them allegedly gets sent packing after failing to ask JoJo's parents for her hand in marriage The runner-up gets dumped after failing to ask the 25-year-old's parents' for her hand in marriage, and during the emotional rejection, JoJo confesses that she wanted things to turn out differently.
